Fees: $40/weekly session

Description:
This group will be an open process group for individuals with all forms of disordered eating and body image concerns. Open process groups are beneficial in gaining support from others who are experiencing similar problems and receiving feedback regarding interpersonal dynamics that might contribute to disordered eating. Developing strong, supportive relationships with group members is an important factor in this type of group, so consistent attendance is important.
There is not a set series or order of topics that will be addressed in this group, so new members can join at any time. The weekly group topic will be determined by group members, based on current concerns or struggles. The primary focus of this group is on recovery and developing positive coping skills.
In order to protect the feelings of trust and safety in group, we do ask that you commit to consistent attendance, starting with a minimum 4 week commitment.

Fees: $40/weekly session
Contact Elena by phone prior to initial group attendance.
Description:
This group will focus on discovering how to identify and honor hunger and fullness, eliminating the concept of good and bad foods common in dieting, and developing other specific skills related to Intuitive Eating. Intuitive Eating is a non-diet approach to developing healthy eating patterns, so if you are tired of dieting and its negative effects on your health and weight, this group is for you!
Within the group setting, individuals can share their challenges, insights and support as they work towards a healthy relationship with food. The group is composed of members with varying backgrounds; some have struggled with weight their entire lives, others have battled to recover from eating disorders, while others are seeking to establish a healthier relationship with food free of obsession and fears of gaining weight.
The groups are not necessarily sequential, meaning you are always welcome to join our group.
